Dataset description

Difference in soil suitability between different sandy soils for bulb cultivation: The plan-MER tests 10 interventions, including the ‘search area for bulb cultivation in the Kop van Noord-Holland (No. 10’). The review in the plan-MER takes place on the basis of the three main themes Climate Resistance, Spatial Quality and Sustainable Space Use. Because flower bulbs fall within the group of so-called high-salting crops, there are more possibilities to adjust any less favourable conditions. For example, unfavourable soils through deep tillage (deep seeds) can still be made suitable for the cultivation of flower bulbs.
