Business and Business Survey for the Netherlands; key figures

This table provides information (including margins of uncertainty) on Dutch entrepreneurs’ views on developments, expectations and judgements regarding their business. Through a panel study, an insight is obtained into the current situation, the future development and the judgements of Dutch industry. This makes it possible to identify changes in optimism or pessimism at an early stage and thus to obtain an early indication of a possible trend change in the economic activities of Dutch businesses. The data can be broken down by business activities according to the standard business classification (SBI 2008). The questions submitted to the operators relate, inter alia, to production, turnover, prices, workforce, economic climate and profitability. In answering the questions relating to developments in the last three months and to expectations for the next three months, economic operators are asked to compare them with the preceding three-month period. When will new figures be available? The next publication containing the results up to the 2nd quarter of 2022 is expected to be published in mid-May 2022.
