This table shows an international comparison of the number of broadband connections by type. The table contains part of the OECD Broadband Statistics (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development). The number of broadband connections is displayed per 100 inhabitants and is divided into DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), cable, fiber optic connections and other (including broadband internet via satellite).
Please note: In order to make an international comparison possible, the figures presented here use internationally comparable definitions, which sometimes differ from the definitions normally used by CBS. As a result, differences can occur between these figures and national figures published elsewhere on the CBS website.
