Business environment; international comparison of aviation network

This table shows the number of major European airports continental and intercontinental destinations (airport network) with an direct connection again. The importance of good connections with the aeroplanes within Europe and intercontinental are increasing as they continue globalisation of the economy. Please note: In order to make an international comparison possible, determination of the figures presented here used internationally comparable definitions, which sometimes differ from the normal definitions used by CBS. As a result, differences can occur between these figures and national published elsewhere on the CBS website figures.
