This table describes the health status and conditions of the population of the Caribbean Netherlands aged 15 years and older in private households. It addresses the following aspects of health:
— experienced health
— long-term illnesses
— chronic diseases
These aspects are shown for the Caribbean Netherlands as a whole, but also for the islands of Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba. Breakdowns by gender, age and educational level are also possible.
The investigation is a sample examination. This means that the figures shown are estimates, for which reliability margins apply. These margins are also included in the table.
The Omnibus survey was conducted in 2013 for the first time on Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius in the month of June and the first week of July. The Omnibus survey was conducted for the second time on Bonaire in the months of October and November 2017, and in the period January to March 2018 on Saba and Sint-Eustatius.
