This table contains figures on the non-natural causes of death of residents of the Netherlands. The figures are broken down by suicide, murder and manslaughter, road deaths, fatal corporate and private accidents and other or unknown cases by age and gender.
Data available from 1996 to 2011
Status of the figures:
These are definitive figures.
Changes as of 19 May 2014:
This table has been discontinued.
The table is followed by a number of tables on the main sub-topics, namely murder and manslaughter, suicide and accident (see paragraph 3 for references to the new tables). This makes it possible to focus the layout of the sub-tables more on the respective subfield.
In the new tables, the delimitation has been adjusted for Murder and Manslaughter: from now on, it concerns all victims of murder and manslaughter, both residents and non-residents. For the new table Suicide and the Accident table, the delimitation is left unchanged, namely only residents.
When are new figures coming?
No longer applicable.
