City maps Eindhoven

The city maps are generalised maps for different scale levels. There are three cards: The city map is a map intended for scale 1:5000 (1 centimeter on the map shows 50 meters in real life). Due to this large scale, each individual house and each street name can be easily distinguished. Within the municipal border, different functions of building and land are indicated with colours. The card has a size of 2.20 meters high and 2.70 meters wide. The street name card color is a map intended for scale 1:12,500. Within the municipal border, different functions of land are indicated with colours. The black and white street name card is a map intended for scale 1:12,500. The street name cards are made in such a way that they can be printed in A0 format where the street names are still readable. The BLT is the source from which the city map Eindhoven is made. The production of derived products is partially automated.
