Dataset description

Citybeacons are the columns that bring together information boards, signage signs, antennas, advertising spaces in an environment. Among other things, the desired city and marketing information and general information from or for the municipality of Eindhoven will be transmitted. Think of the announcement of activities or events, or services offered by the municipality of Eindhoven. A part can also be provided with information and apps, which contribute to the provision of relevant city information for residents, visitors and entrepreneurs in the city. Sensor data is also generated from the Citybeacons. For the time being, these are the air quality data.

Operation and development of APIs are currently fully funded by company Apitalks and its usage is for free.

Yes, you can.

All important information such as time of last update, license and other information are in response of each API call.

In case of major update that would not be compatible with previous version of API, we keep for 30 days both versions so you will have enough time to transfer to new version. We will inform you about the changes in advance by e-mail.
