We know areas with a valuable closed and/or small-scale open character This is often formed by the presence of bushes, wood sidings, woodwalls and (maybuckthorn) hedges. In order to protect the (small-scale) openness, privateness and wood-single structure, we have included rules in the Environment Regulation.
