Within the framework of environmental statistics, CBS collects data on the supply, composition and treatment of waste and related expenditure and revenues. This statistics contains the results of a sample survey on the release and disposal of industrial waste, with the substances for re-use becoming increasingly important.
The European Waste List (EURAL) entered into force in May 2002. As a result, the Dutch Waste Code list has expired. For practical reasons, the data as of 2002 are still classified according to this Dutch Waste Code List.
This table provides information on the total amount of farm waste released per business class Sbi broken down by different categories, the method of offering, the method of working and processing and the size of the holdings. Detailed figures are presented on the material types of waste destined for re-use.
