This table provides figures on the number of high-growth firms. These are companies with an average annual growth rate (number of employees) of 10 % or more per year over a period of 3 consecutive years. The figures on fast growers are available by company size, legal form and economic activity, based on the Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008). In determining economic activity, size and legal form, the situation at the end of the growth period has been taken into account. Data available from: 2010. Status of the figures: The figures up to 2020 are final. Changes as of 7 February 2022: The final figures for the year 2020 have been added. A correction was made for the reporting year 2019. For that year, a provisional policy file had been incorrectly used, which made the determination of the fast growers incorrect. This has been corrected in this version of the table. When will there be new figures? The new figures are generally available 7 months after the end of the reporting year.
