Dataset description
This table contains data on the number of companies and institutions
by economic activity, based on the Standard Business Classification
1993 (SBI '93) divided into (12 Sections and 56 divisions of the SBI)
(93). The companies are also classified according to company size on the basis of
of the number of persons employed and by legal form.
From 1 July 2006 the CBS’s General Business Register is radical
changed. As a result, the data on the number of companies
and completely revised institutions in this publication.
