The Consumer Price Index (CPI) all households (extended),
calculated by CBS with 1995 as the base year,
average price change of goods and services
buying those households.
The index is an important measure of inflation and becomes a lot
used by business, employers and employees—
organisations and the government.
The index is used, among other things, for wage adjustments, adjustments
of tax tables and indexation of rents, annuities, etc.
Data available from: January 1996
Frequency: discontinued as of 1 January 2003.
Replaced by the series of all households (2000=100).
