This table contains detailed figures on consumption expenditure, broken down by consumption functions. This classification is based on the purpose for which transactions are made. For example, for the purpose of consumption mobile telephony, in addition to the purchase of a mobile phone, the purchase of a mobile subscription and of accessories for the phone is included.
The total consumption expenditure in this table is made up of actual individual consumption, consumption expenditure by households including non-profit institutions for households and general government consumption split into individual consumption and collective consumption.

The data from 1969 to 2015 are final. The data for 2016 is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
