This table provides data on the number and proportion of persons in the working population who have participated in at least one work-related course and the number of persons in the working population who did not take part in work-related courses. The proportion of the working population taking a work-related course is also presented the number and proportion that at least one work-related course (partially) is paid by the employer.
This information is broken down by business sector of the company and by the size of the business establishment in which the person operates (company size).
The population surveyed is the Dutch population aged 25 to 65. In 2018, figures from the regular, periodically recurring Adult Education Survey (AES) will be published for the second time. The frequency is once every five to six years (see 4. Sources and methods). Because there are design effects (of unknown size), no time series from the AES are published, but separate tables for each edition.
