Cross-over Qualifications 2020

A cross-over qualification consists of parts of existing qualifications. As an experiment, a school, together with the business community, can compose such a qualification, which is at the intersection of sectors. As a result, current and innovative developments quickly become a place in education. The crossover may only be offered by the school that applied for it. The OCW Ministry’s experiment will last until 2025. The conditions for a cross-over are: — only for mbo levels 2 to 4 — the training does not yet exist — a school may offer up to ten experimental training courses — the cross-over is made up of parts of existing qualifications from two or more fields of training — the Inspectorate found no deficiencies in a domain involved in the application — the training does not participate in the experiments “continuous learning lines vmbo-mbo” or “combined learning paths bol-bbl”
