Dataset description
This file has data on various types of deposits:
— Sea deposits, mainly clay-like soils;
— Dunes and beach sands, elongated patterns on the coast;
— Trench deposits or current belts are the remains of former rivers and trenches.
— Inland mooring
— River dunes or downs, sandy poppings on or below the surface.
— Comb deposits, clay-like soils.
Distinctions have been made in five depth classes:
— Ground level (class 0);
— Within 3 m -mv (class 1);
— Within 2-5 m -mv (class 2);
— From 5 m -mv (class 3);
— Pleistocene and deeper relevant layers (class 4)
