Dataset description

The project Old Paths — New Roads started in 2006 and completed in 2009. It is a partnership between Support Centre Monumentenzorg Fryslân, Landschapsbeheer Friesland, Doarpswurk, Plattelânsprojekten of the Province of Fryslân, the Keuning Institute and the Lectorate Rural Renewal of Van Hall Larenstein. This map shows the historical paths in Friesland. The paths are divided into 7 categories, namely: 1 = missing path; 2 = paved road; 3 = paved bike footpath; 4 = unpaved footpath; 5 = debris; 6 = unpaved driving; 7 = landscape path
