The Current Height File Netherlands DTM (AHN3) are height and auxiliary files made from laser altimetry in the period 2013-2018. The measured heights (points) were made of 3D point clouds and grids. The height file AHN3 0.5 m DTM ground level grid is the grid manufactured by classifying points as “mowing field” and converting it to a grid based on a Squared IDW method. No further operations have been performed. Points classified as class non-mower fields are objects such as trees, buildings, bridges, water and other objects. The AHN3 0.5 meter DSM elevation file is the grid manufactured from all points except those classified as “water” based on a Squared IDW method. The AHN3 5 meter DTM ground level grid (unfilled) is the grid manufactured by determining the “mowing field” from the AHN3 0.5 meter DTM based on unweighted average. No further operations have been performed. More information can be found at www.ahn.nl.
