This table shows the number of mental health care pathways per mental illness, insofar as it is funded in the form of DBCs (Diagnosis Treatment Combinations). Until 2013, this concerns the second-line medical GGZ, following the reform of the GGZ in 2014, this concerns the specialist GGZ. A care process consists of one or more DBCs (Diagnosis Treatment Combinations). For a specific diagnosis, the table shows both the number of care pathways for which this diagnosis was the most important (primary) diagnosis, as well as the number of care pathways for which this diagnosis was registered as primary or secondary diagnosis. For example:both the number of care pathways where alcohol addiction was the most important diagnosis to be treated, as well as care pathways where alcohol addiction was an additional (seven) diagnosis that affected the treatment.
The table shows both the number of care pathways with one or more DBCs closed in the reporting year and the number of care pathways within which DBCs were closed or opened in the reporting year (ongoing DBCs).
Care pathways are distinguished in new or continued treatments, care with or without residence, treatment in an institution or in a practice, the treatment circuit and the reason for closing the last DBC in the care process.
