Dataset description

This table shows the number of people in mental health care (GGZ) to the mental illness for which care was provided in the reporting year. This concerns care that is funded in the form of DBCs (Diagnosis Treatment Combinations). Until 2013, this concerns the second-line medical GGZ, following the reform of the GGZ in 2014, this concerns the specialist GGZ. The table shows both individuals for whom the diagnosis to be selected was the most important (primary) diagnosis and those for whom this diagnosis was registered as primary or secondary diagnosis. For example: the table counts both the number of people with alcohol addiction being the most important diagnosis to be treated, as well as those with alcohol addiction being an additional (seven) diagnosis registered because it affected treatment. Data is displayed by age, gender and migration background. Data available from 2011 to 2016 Status of the figures: The figures until 2014 are final. Data for 2015 and 2016 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive. Changes as of 6 November 2020: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. Due to limitations in the level of detail in the source registration, it is no longer possible to continue these tables. See section 3 for a link to new GHG tables to main group diagnoses.
