Delta Scenarios for 2050

On behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, four Delta scenarios (future images for living, working and space use in 2050) were drafted in a partnership of Deltares, PBL Planning Agency for the Environment, KNMI, LEI Wageningen UR and Central Planning Agency (CPB): Pressure, Steam, Warm and Rest. The scenarios are determined by the combination of factors that are very uncertain but at the same time have a major impact on water assignments. These factors are climate change and socio-economic developments. This dataset contains the results of the delta scenarios per dike ring for 2050: persons, dwellings and area of living and working area. The data is the result of modelling with the most important models used: Space scanner, DRAM, Tigris XL and PEARL.
