Drinking water domestic consumption; tariffs for water supply companies 1997-2013

The rates of the water supply companies are collected by the Association of Water Companies in the Netherlands (VEWIN). Vewin makes an annual overview of the tariffs of the water supply companies with their supply area and makes them available to CBS. On the basis of this information, the highest, lowest and average rates are calculated. The amounts are exclusive of VAT, but include groundwater tax, fixed duty and tap water tax. The latter was introduced from 1-1-2000. As of 1-1-2012 groundwater tax has been abolished. Data are available from 1997 to 2013 Status of the figures: The published prices are immediately final.
