These figures come from the annual health module of the Permanent Research Live Situation (POLS). CBS conducts this health survey with the aim of
provide a complete overview of developments in the health, medical consumption, lifestyle and preventive behaviour of the Dutch population. The following types of drugs were requested from persons aged 15 to 65: marijuana/hash, cocaine, amphetamines, ecstasy, heroin, performance enhancing agents and LSD.
It was asked if people had ever used drugs. The people who reported that they had ever used drugs were then asked if they had taken the “last 30 days” drugs.
In the table, the data can be broken down to the following
features:

Amendment as of 15 June 2010:
The 2009 figures have been added. The 2007 and 2008 figures on “drugs used in the past 30 days” have improved due to a technical error in the programme.
