Data on durable goods are found in several surveys conducted by CBS. The information in this publication comes from:
— Consumer Economic Research (CCO) (1972-1983).
— Socio-economic panel research (SEP) (from 1984 onwards).
— Permanent Investigation of Living Situations (pols)
percentage of PC ownership for all households from 1998 onwards.
— Budget research (BO) from 2003.
Due to another study design, the comparisons are not possible over time.
This table contains data on the possession of sustainable items such as kitchen and household appliances, audiovisual appliances, musical instruments, means of transport and durable goods used in leisure, e.g. a mobile home. Since 1990, the possession of these items can be seen according to different household characteristics. These household characteristics are the composition of the household, age, education level and labour position of the breadwinner, employment rate of the household, level of income and urbanity of the municipality. Not all durable consumer goods are measured annually.
Data available from 1972 to 2004
