Dutch films 1913 to 1940

The website FilmInNederland.nl paints a picture of the developments in Dutch film history, from the first film screening in the Netherlands (on 12 March 1896) until 1940. The corpus Dutch feature film 1913-1940 contains descriptions and metadata of all the long Dutch feature films made in the Netherlands before World War II. It gives a beautiful picture of the ups and downs of the feature film production in the early years of the film in our country. The dataset is an ods file and can be downloaded from eyefilm.nl/opendata. The set contains 170 feature films. A Dutch description of each film is available, including the director, the production year, the premiere date, geographical names, keywords, the cast, the producer, the distributor and the screening theatre.
