Dataset description

This file contains the boundary of the earthquake area as laid down in the Provincial Ordinance. The Provincial Environment Regulation lays down rules to prevent the complete or partial demolition of characteristic buildings in the earthquake area without prior careful consideration. That’s why it’s named which area it is. The municipal reclassification requires an adaptation of the definition of earthquake area in the Environmental Regulation (Article 2.7). For this, map 11 has been added, this is a view of the situation until the municipal reclassifications from 1-1-2019.
