This table contains figures on the average consumption of electricity per resident of private homes in the Netherlands broken down by housing type, area class and number of residents. This concerns the consumption of electricity supplied via the public network.
In addition, information on the distribution of electricity consumption per resident is also included.
The statistics published in this table have been calculated on the basis of housing with:
private households,
a minimum area of 15 m² and a maximum area of 500 m²,
a year of construction from 1000 to the reporting year,
at least 1 registered resident,
plausible electricity consumption.
Data will be available from 2012.
Status of the figures: The figures for 2012 to 2018 are final, the figures for 2019 are provisional.
