This table contains figures on actual emissions to air from mobile sources on or above Dutch territory and the Dutch part of the Continental Shelf (NCP) (see paragraph 2). These are emissions from combustion of (engine) fuels, emissions from evaporation of fuel and cargo residues (VOCs) and (PM10) emissions from tyre wear, brake linings and road surfaces, and from the wear of overhead lines and pantographs on railways.
Emissions have been calculated by multiplying activity data, such as vehicle-kilometres and fuel consumption.
Data available from: 1990.
Status of the figures:
All figures are final. In order to achieve a consistent and consistent time series, the complete time series is (re)calculated each year, so that the latest insights, in particular with regard to the emission factors, can be taken into account in the calculations.
Changes as of 9 March 2022:
Addition of final 2020 figures.
When will there be new figures?
Provisional figures for 2021 will be published in October 2022.
