Emissions to air on Dutch territory; road traffic

This table contains figures on actual total emissions to air on Dutch territory due to total road traffic, including foreign vehicles. In addition, this table contains figures on the corresponding park emission factors, which are the average emissions per vehicle-kilometre. The figures in this table refer to exhaust emissions from burning (engine) fuels, emissions from evaporation of fuel from the fuel system of vehicles and emissions from tyre wear, road surface and braking. In order to achieve a coherent and consistent time series, the complete time series shall be (re)calculated each year, so that the latest insights, in particular with regard to emission factors, can be taken into account in the calculations. Data available from: Actual emissions are available from 1990 onwards, the park emission factors are available from 2004 onwards.
