This table contains annual figures on the extent to which employees are working overtime. Employees aged 15 to 75 years old are classified into occasional, regular or non-work overtime. For the different classifications there is a breakdown by gender, position in employment, age, education level, working hours, household position and professional class (BRC 2014).
Data available from: 2006.
Data on overtime work before 2006 are available on request via customisation and only for the population of workers working 12 hours or more per week.

Changes as of 14 November 2019:
The figures on the level of education in this table have been corrected for the period 2012-2018. This is a correction in the distraction of the level of education of persons who indicate that they have obtained a diploma abroad with a level similar to the higher education level. This group was wrongly awarded the level associated with an MBO2 training.
