This table contains quarterly and annual figures on the employment rate of couples in the Netherlands. These are couples whose partners are between 15 and 75 years of age (excluding the institutional population). The partner’s data shall be determined by gender and, if employed, by working time. The different groups of couples are further distinguished by the number of children and the age of the youngest child.
Due to a redesign of the Occupational Population Survey (EBB), no new figures for the third quarter of 2021 will appear in November. New figures will be published in the first quarter of 2022. Due to the changes in the research design and questionnaire of the EBB, a revision of the figures for the entire reporting year 2021 will then be carried out. The figures for 2021 are not then easily comparable to the previous reporting periods.
