This table contains annual figures on labour participation in the Netherlands for various regional breakdowns. The population aged 15 to 75 is divided into the employed, unemployed and non-occupied populations. The working population is further classified on the basis of employment and employment level. A breakdown by gender, age, migration background and educational level is available for the different classifications. The classification by municipalities is based on the municipalities of 1 January 2018.

In the previous version of this table, unemployment rates and data on gross and net employment rates which should have been eliminated due to small numbers and therefore too low reliability had been wrongly assigned to 0.0. This has been corrected in this version of the table.

Each year in February, a new table containing the most recent area divisions is compiled.
