Energy and water supply companies; turnover development, SBI 2008, 2003-2012

This table provides information on the development of monthly turnover for companies with 10 or more persons employed in the energy industry and in the water supply industry. Developments are expressed in indices based on the year 2005 and in rates of development (compared to the same period of the previous year). The statistical examination which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013: In 2013, from reference year 2005 to 2010 (2010 = 100), the weighting factors were updated and based on the year 2010. When calculating indices, the weighting factors reflect the proportion with which the underlying outcomes count in a publication group. Because of these changes, CBS has released a new table, Industry (excluding construction); production, turnover, orders, index 2010=100. For more information, see paragraphs 3 and 4.
