This table does not include energy consumption for transport. Energy consumption is broken down by energy carrier, such as petroleum products, natural gas and electricity.

For the years 1990 to 1994, the figures are equal to the table on energy balance revised in September; supply and consumption.
The overhaul of households was a result of new insights through the customer bases of network companies.
As a result of this adjustment, there is a trend break from 1989 to 1990.
