Environment Regulation- Gelders nature network wind turbines possible under conditions

A zoning plan may permit the construction of a wind turbine for a location within the area designated as the Gelders natural network wind turbines subject to conditions; and if the compensation for wind turbines and surrounding hardening consists of measures that minimise the adverse effects on the core qualities, surface or cohesion of the Gelders nature network and compensate for the remaining effects equivalently in accordance with Annex Equivalent nature management types; and the area of nature that is lost is compensated for 200 %. The update plan was adopted by Provincial States on 15 December 2021, the date of entry into force is 1 February 2022.
