Environmental vision 2018 — Known archaeological values — Preservation ex situ

Published by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018 of well-known archaeological values ex situ. The Heritage Act (2016) regulates that all archaeological finds and excavation documentation from archaeological research in Drenthe are owned by the province. To this end, together with the provinces of Groningen and Fryslân, we maintain the Northern Archaeological Depot in Nuis. Here, the archaeological heritage ex situ is managed responsibly and made accessible for scientific research.
