Version of Nature in town and village adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. The province of Drenthe has the ambition to maintain and promote biodiversity in villages and cities by improving the quality of the physical environment. In addition to a role for biodiversity, a green environment near the residence also promotes the appreciation for nature and the enthusiasm to play an active role there.
