Environmental Vision 2018 — TT Circuit

Version of TT circuit adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. The TT circuit in Assen is economic, recreational, sporty and employment-related. However, the circuit is located in an environment that also knows its interests: nature reserve Witterveld, villages and residential areas and recreational facilities such as campsites. It is important to reconcile all interests in a balanced manner. For this reason, the province, in close cooperation with the municipality of Assen, concluded a covenant in 2012, together with all the parties involved, with an integral vision with associated implementation programmes for the TT circuit and its environment.
