Exporters and export development in goods; company size, industry

This table contains figures on the evolution of the number of exporters of goods over a period of three years. The table provides, inter alia, information on the total number of exporters at the beginning and end of the three-year period and on the number of exporters who have seen their exports grow or contract in the three-year period. The data is broken down by industry/sector according to the 2008 Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008) and by some size classes. This table has been developed for the State of SMEs programme. Data available from: 2013. Status of the figures: The figures in the table up to 2020 are final, which are provisional for 2021. Amendments as of 25 May 2022: The data for 2021 have been added. The data for 2020 have been adjusted on the basis of later data become available and now definitive. When are new figures coming? New figures are expected by mid-2023.
