This table shows forecasts of the population of the Netherlands at 1 January by gender and age. In the table are also forecast intervals included. Changes by: April 20, 2011. — In the table were false forecasts for the number of men 95 years or older, and as a result also for the number of men aged 65 year or older and the total number of men, over all the figures in the table periods displayed. This has been corrected. All other figures are unchanged. — The texts included in the table have been clarified. Changes by: 17 December 2010. The forecast has been adjusted on the basis of the most recent insights, the forecast period now runs from 2010 to 2060. When are new figures coming? The new population forecast comes out in December 2012.
