Dataset description
This file contains forest and nature reserves outside the Nature Network Netherlands as set out in the Environmental Regulation of the Province of Groningen 2016. In this Environment Regulation we have included rules for this. Outside the Netherlands Nature Network (NNN), all kinds of smaller and larger forest and nature elements are present in our province, which contribute to the biodiversity of the rural area. We ask municipalities to protect forest and nature areas outside the NNN through municipal zoning plans.
