Dataset description

This file contains (former) old dikes as established in the Environment Vision province of Groningen 2016-2020. Dikes are a core characteristic of our province. We protect these values. These include, among other things: • (sleeper) dikes and related elements such as kolks, drinking caps, denominations and bulkheads)); • Recognizable dyke tracks; • Lead calibrations. We have included rules for this in the Environment Regulation. We encourage the restoration and strengthening of weeds, ash and dikes and the related elements with instruments through the National Area Programme
