Dataset description

In the current version of the Frisian Archaeological Monument Map Extra (FAMKE), AMK terrains that concern a village centre, and whose limits are still uncertain, are included as symbols. The limits of the areas will be included in the FAMKE in the coming period. It is advisable to ask the provincial archaeologist if a planned intervention or new zoning plan includes this symbol or is in its vicinity. The province advises in case of these village centres in accordance with the ‘ordinary’ AMK terrains.
