Dataset description

This publication describes the areas and the number of companies of the apples per variety, pears per variety, small fruit by species and stone fruits by species. There is also information for the companies with apples and pears available on the irrigation systems, fertigation plants and the available refrigeration, including the ULO cooling. The data is disaggregated by subdividing the holdings by surface class apples and pears. There is a separate class for fruit companies without apples and/or pears. These are companies with only small fruits and/or stone fruits. Data available from: 1997 Frequency: discontinued
