Dataset description
This table contains data on the growing area of fruit plants (open land and under glass) in the Netherlands. The following fruits are distinguished: apples, pears, stone fruits (plum, sweet cherry, sour cherry), small fruit (bluecurrant, burr, raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant), wine grape and nuts.
Data available from: 2015. Areas of individual apple and pear varieties are available from 2018 as they were not yet included in the Agricultural Census.
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are final.
Changes as of 7 May 2021:
The final figures for 2020 have been added.
When are new figures coming?
New figures are expected to be published in mid-March for the previous year.
