Ganzenfoerage areas

Location of geese foraging areas 2020-2021 in Fryslân. The dataset contains both the general and the species-specific applications, the last including duration (until 1 May or until 1 June). The species-specific foraging areas (for fire geese and rotary geese) are complementary to the common foraging areas. Farmers voluntarily collect the geese and receive compensation for this. The foraging areas per species are located in places where the burning and rotary geese are the most common. The column ANV_selection states the final selection: 1: General foraging area 2: Species-specific until 1 May 3: Species-specific until 1 June Purpose of manufacture: Grant scheme for geese foraging areas of the province of Fryslân.
