This publication contains detailed data on consumer spending. The main structure consists of a subdivision in:

— data category of goods and services
— data consumption functions
The key figures reflect the build-up of total consumption expenditure, public consumption expenditure and the build-up of actual individual consumption. The consumption functions are divided into
consumption expenditure by households including non-profit institutions for households and general government consumption expenditure broken down by individual consumption and collective consumption. This section also includes a selection of actual individual consumption, the build-up of the actual
individual consumption and a choice of main groups.
The topics can be displayed in the following quantities:

In 2005, the national accounts were revised on the basis of conceptual changes to the international guidelines of the European Union (ESA 1995). In addition, new statistical insights and new sources have been incorporated into this 2001 revision.
Release policy
After the end of the reporting year, the provisional, further provisional and final annual estimates shall be published after 6, 18 and 30 months respectively.
New figures are published annually in June or July on StatLine, the electronic database of CBS. Interim changes will also be made available via StatLine.
In addition, the figures are published annually in the paper publication National Accounts in August.
