Dataset description

Version of Geopark De Hondsrug adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 2 July 2014. The Hondsrug has been designated under UNESCO’s auspices as the first European Geopark in the Netherlands. This status offers opportunities for maintaining and developing the geological and cultural historical values, for tourist-recreational facilities and for networking.
