Dataset description
This table shows the number of graduates and graduates in secondary education (vo), secondary vocational education (mbo), secondary general adult education (vavo) and higher education (ho) by age, type and level, migration background and residential region (at the beginning of a relevant school/study year).
Data available for:
— secondary education: from 2003/'04;
— secondary vocational education: from 2005/'06;
— secondary general adult education: from 2006/07;
— higher education: from 2000/'01.
Status of the figures:
The figures for the school/study years up to 2019/‘20 are final and those for the school/study year 2020/’21 are provisional.
Changes as of 7 July 2022:
The final figures for the 2019/‘20 school year and the preliminary figures for the 2020/’21 school year have been added.
When are new figures coming?
In the third quarter of 2023, the preliminary figures for the school/study year 2020/‘21 will be replaced by final figures and the provisional figures for the school/study year 2021/’22 are added.
